CeraVe had the science that most skincare brands only gesture at — ceramide-based formulations developed with dermatologists, built to actually restore the skin barrier rather than simply claim to. The challenge was making that clinical credibility land with everyday consumers without burying it in medical language or losing it to the noise of a crowded shelf.
We found the insight in the gap: professional-grade skincare had always existed, it just wasn't accessible. Everything we built treated democratic efficacy as the design brief — an identity that carries the authority of a dermatologist's recommendation without the price point or the prescription. The result is a brand that made clinical skincare feel like common sense.
