Strawberry Bay is a high-altitude marina and lodge infrastructure located at the convergence of the Wasatch Mountains and Uinta National Forest. By integrating diverse recreational access points—ranging from aquatic navigation to alpine snow sports—the platform provides a structured gateway to extreme seasonal environments.
THE FRICTION
The alpine wilderness sector is structurally prone to seasonal fragmentation: the infrastructure often fails to communicate its utility outside of peak tourism windows. This creates a usability gap where the environment remains disconnected from the visitor’s potential engagement. Strawberry Bay held the geographical advantage to resolve this, but their brand was failing to communicate its status as a year-round, high-performance basecamp.
THE DISTILLATION
We stripped away the cozy lodge aesthetic. We engineered a visual and verbal system that prioritizes geographical orientation and seasonal utility. By mapping the recreational capacity across the four-season cycle, we transformed the brand from a static lodging provider into a dynamic topographical interface.

By aligning the identity with the logic of year-round environmental engagement, we transformed Strawberry Bay from a regional marina into a definitive architect of alpine experiences.
